أحد أجمل الظواهر الطبيعية في مدينة مانوس البرازيلية، أكبر مدن حوض الأمازون، هي
مكان التقاء الماء بالماء وهى مكان اتصال نهر نيجرو بنهر الأمازون، حيث يلتقى مجرى
الماء لكل من النهرين اللذين يبعدان عشرات الأميال عن بعضهما من دون أن يختلطا في
ظاهرة طبيعية ساحرة وعجيبة في ذات الوقت كما ذكرت مجلة «وسع صدرك».
ونهر نيجرو يبدو بلون غامق لوجود أحماض بنسبة عالية ناتجة عن اضمحلال النباتات،
أما النهر على اليمين فهو نهر الأمازون وتبدو مياهه الموحلة بلون فاتح ناتج عن
ترسبات جبال الأنديز.
يختلف كذلك النهران بدرجة الحرارة وسرعة الجريان فمياه نهر نيجرو أدفأ من مياه
نهر الأمازون وفى المقابل سرعة تدفق مياه الأمازون أسرع مما هي عليه في نهر نيجرو،
هذه العوامل مجتمعة تسببت في عدم اختلاط مياه النهرين مع بعضهما واستمرار هذه
الظاهرة الطبيعية المدهشة.
يعتبر مكان التقاء الماء بالماء أحد أكثر الأماكن الذي يتوافد عليها السياح
الذين يركبون القوارب لمشاهدة هذه الظاهرة عن قرب. يمتد مكان الالتقاء لمسافة أربعة
كيلومترات ويبعد عن وسط مدينة مانوس مسافة ست ساعات بالسيارة
Longsheng Rice Terraces. The terraces are about a 2 hour drive from Guilin, Guangxi, China and coil around the mountain to look like dragon scales. They were mostly built during the Ming Dynasty (about 500 years ago), but still hold enormous cultural value. The green shoots are said to be most beautiful in June, but are certainly a worthy sight all summer long.
i’ve been to hong hong feb last year for the celebration of chinese new year .. it was tiger year for 2010 .. i had great time there .. i didnt visit many places there back then , we went to victoria peak , diseny land , starwalk (i guess) , and the rest we spend it shopping .. it was toooooooo cold almost freeze in feb .. even mom (who always in summer clothing in london .. this time she complained about the cold she even shopped for coats and jackets) .. so anyways guess this time we will exerience hong kong hot humed rainny sunny weather just the oposit of last time .. i also did long list for places i wanna see ..
